Our client is a rapidly growing and ambitious main contractor, known for delivering data centre projects across Europe. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager
for a major new-build data centre project in Norway.
The Senior Electrical Project Manager will take full responsibility for the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of all electrical works on-site. They will lead the electrical delivery team, manage specialist subcontractors, and interface directly with the client and internal stakeholders to drive progress across all stages of the programme.
• Oversee all electrical installation works from preconstruction through commissioning and handover
• Lead a multidisciplinary electrical team to ensure programme, budget, and quality targets are achieved
• Coordinate with design, BIM, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and ensure buildability
• Manage HV/LV systems, generator and UPS integration, containment, and life safety systems
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works meet contractual, technical, and safety standards
• Take ownership of electrical commissioning strategy and interface with commissioning teams and client stakeholders
• Drive progress reporting, cost forecasting, and risk identification related to electrical packages
• Foster a strong HSE culture across the electrical delivery team
• Proven experience delivering complex electrical installations on data centres or similar mission-critical projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HV/LV systems, switchgear, backup power systems, and critical infrastructure
• Background in electrical engineering with a main contractor or large specialist subcontractor
• Skilled in managing large teams, subcontractor performance, and fast-track delivery programmes
• Exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in an international environment with a diverse project team
